The owners of summer camps in Texas want more time and flexibility to comply with new safety regulations. One of them requires camps to get costly fiber internet service, so they can communicate in an emergency.

Riley Watkins, who runs Camp Oak Haven, says that would cost more than their annual budget. But the request was blasted the father of one Camp Mystic kid, who told the Department of State Health Services that safety must come before profits.
