All 17 proposed amendments to the state Constitution are apparently meeting the approval of Texas voters.

Among the highest-profile measures is Proposition 4, which authorizes the outlay of 20 billion dollars for water projects over the next 20 years.

Prop 13 raises the state’s homestead tax exemption, and Prop 11 increases it even more for homeowners who are elderly or disabled.

Prop 9 gives businesses a break on property taxes on their inventory. Prop 3 denies bail to suspects accused of certain violent offenses.
