Bexar County Elections Administrator Michele Carew is reporting the passage of both Propositions A and B in Tuesday’s election. Nearly 56 percent of voters supported Prop A, and just over 52 percent voted in favor of Prop B.

Prop A calls for turning the Frost Bank Center and the Freeman Coliseum into year-round rodeo grounds. Prop B funds a new downtown arena to replace Frost Bank Center as the home of the Spurs. Both propositions are to be funded with a car rental tax and an increased hotel occupancy tax.
