The Texas Department of Transportation is committing around 300-million dollars for statewide bicycle and pedestrian projects.
Texas Transportation Commissioner Robert Vaughn said the investment will ” make it safer and more enjoyable for people to walk and bike in their communities while improving access across the state.”
Grantees are required to be in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations for roadways.
