La Joya ISD Announces Death Of Palmview HS Student

A Palmview High School student has died in a weekend vehicle crash. The La Joya school district announced the death of Gilbert Govea Monday.

The district released a statement saying the District Support Team has been activated to work with counselors and staff members at the high school to provide emotional support to students. No other details about the crash have been released.
