A man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a deadly 2023 shooting. Twenty-eight-year-old Rheinchard Lara was sentenced Wednesday in Hidalgo County court.
Investigators said Lara shot 30-year-old Roberto Garza following an argument outside a home on Mezcal Drive in Pharr two years ago. Lara was convicted of murder earlier this week.
