The Trump administration is threatening to sanction the International Criminal Court unless it pledges not to prosecute President Trump.

An administration official said on Wednesday that they are concerned that the ICC will “turn its attention to the president” and others, and “pursue prosecutions against them.”

The official didn’t say if the concern was over the recent military strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean.
