More dangerously cold weather is coming to the Midwest and Northeast. Forecasters say another Arctic cold front will be dipping into the Central U.S. this week, causing temperatures to plunge from Des Moines to Boston starting today, and lake-effect snow in the Great Lakes area.
Daytime highs will be in the 20s and 30s throughout the region through New Year’s Day, with highs in the single digits in the Upper Midwest.
