A Brownsville man has been arraigned for allegedly firing at police during a confrontation on Christmas Eve. Forty-one-year-old Geroardo Enrique Garcia was in court to face multiple counts of aggravated assault and other charges Tuesday.

Investigators say Garcia fired at officers answering a domestic disturbance call on Rawhide Drive on December 24th. Garica was wounded when the officers returned fire. His bond was set at nearly two-point-three-million dollars.
