Texas’s school choice program starts this year. Hundreds of private schools have signed up and, pretty soon, parents can, too.
Comptroller Kelly Hancock says registration starts on February 4th. The state, he says, is prioritizing students from lower-income families and those with disabilities. Also, a family’s adjusted gross income will be used to determine prioritization.
