By Democratic Senate candidate Jasmine Crockett made a campaign stop in The Valley over the weekend. Crockett held town halls with voters in McAllen and Brownsville as part of her “Texas Tough Tour.”
The Dallas Congresswoman is one of three Texas Democrats vying for the U.S. Senate seat currently occupied by Republican John Cornyn. Cornyn himself is facing a primary challenge from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Congressman Wesley Hunt.
