A Plano man is in the hospital after reportedly being shot by his teenage son on Monday. Police responded around 8:30 a.m. to the shooting at a home on Sandy Water Lane. A 9-1-1 caller told the dispatcher his 15-year-old son had shot him.
Plano Fire-Rescue took the wounded man to the hospital, where he’s expected to recover. Officers arrested the teen and took him to the Collin County Juvenile Detention Center. He’s charged with aggravated assault-family violence with a deadly weapon, causing serious bodily injury.
