President Trump reportedly has no plans to endorse either Senator John Cornyn or his opponent, Ken Paxton, in the race for one of Texas’s two seats in the Senate. But experts say that, if there a runoff, he may be convinced to try and tip the scales.
Rice University Professor Mark Jones says that Cornyn is now one of only three sitting Republican senators without a Trump endorsement.
