There has been a wave of data centers in Texas supporting AI research. Farmers are not fans of what’s being installed next to their crops.
Gary Joiner with the Texas Farm Bureau says they support a plan by the Texas Ag Commissioner to steer data centers toward land that is less suitable for agriculture. The goal is to safeguard food production while still supporting growth in technology.
