An Edinburg man has died after trying to flee from a traffic stop. The Texas Department of Public Safety says a patrol unit tried to pull over a motorcycle rider on Brushline Road on Tuesday night.
The rider pulled away from the unit and crashed into a dump truck that was trying to make a turn. Thirty-three-year-old Victor Torres died after he was taken to the hospital. The crash is currently under investigation.
