President Trump is threatening to sue JPMorgan Chase over a decision to close his account following the January 6 Capitol riot.
Trump took to Truth Social to say a Wall Street Journal article claiming he offered Chase CEO Jamie Dimon the Fed Chairman title is “totally untrue,” and that he will be suing JPMorgan over the next two weeks for “incorrectly and inappropriately” debanking him.
A spokesperson for the company told The Hill that the claims are false, and that they do not close accounts over politics.
