Iranians living in Houston are calling for the overthrow of the Iranian regime and protesting a digital blackout in the country. Demonstrators gathered on Sunday on Post Oak Boulevard in the Galleria area.

Human rights groups say the growing unrest in Iran has resulted in the deaths of thousands of protesters at the hands of the government. Local protesters say the digital shutdown is making it hard for them to communicate with relatives still in Iran.
