Cities across Texas are updating their police policies when it comes to federal immigration raids. The state’s largest police union says this is a huge deal. Bob Leonard with CLEAT says that even Austin is updating their partnership with federal authorities.
Their cops are being told to cooperate with the execution of immigration warrants. And they can ask for the immigration status of people they encounter.
