Court documents are revealing more details about an officer-involved shooting that happened last week in Mission.
Thirty-five-year-old Jose Garcia the Second was arrested last Wednesday at the IBC Bank on South Shary Road. The criminal complaint against Garcia indicates that he and another suspect kidnapped a man and tried to force him to withdraw 100-thousand dollars from the bank.
The unidentified second suspect was wounded in an exchange of gunfire with police. Garcia is currently facing charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping, while the other suspect is still in the hospital.
