A teen and an adult are facing charges after a deadly shooting in Brownsville. Police began investigating Friday when a 15-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen in the 13-hundred block of South Indiana Avenue. A 14-year-old boy was reportedly handling a gun at the time the victim was shot.
The 14-year-old has been charged with manslaughter and is being held at a juvenile detention center. The 25-year-old owner of the gun has also been charged with making a firearm accessible to a child, causing death.
