Texas Governor Greg Abbott is spending a lot of time in South Texas ahead of this year’s elections. The governor headlined a Republican fundraising event at the Harlingen Convention Center yesterday.
The governor highlighted achievements such as a commitment from Mexico to ensure timely water deliveries to the Rio Grande Valley.
The governor said he believes he’s been to South Texas more than any other governor in state history. He’ll be coming back to the area next week for a meeting with the Secretary of Agriculture.
