Several Robert Vela High School students are facing discipline after walking out of class.
The students took part in a protest of federal immigration enforcement efforts on Friday. At least two students were suspended for one day, and additional disciplinary action is pending.
The Texas Education Agency has warned school districts that they could face potential takeovers if they allow student walkouts.
