Data centers are popping up all over Texas, and they’re using a ton of water. There is a concerns at the state legislature that the needs of high-tech firms would be placed ahead of both home owners are agriculture.
State Representative Cody Harris led a hearing on it, today, in Austin. He says it’s a “difficult question” for lawmakers to balance. But he says we need to “ensure that future generations of Texas enjoy the Texas we enjoy now.”
