Democratic Senate Candidate Jasmine Crockett is facing pushback from some in the trucking industry.

The congresswoman suggested that truck drivers should not have to be required to speak English in order to get a commercial license. She argues that you can rent a car without passing a language test.

Jeffery Burkhardt with the Commercial Vehicle Training Association says that’s insulting. He points out that the rules of the road are different for those driving 80-thousand pound vehicles.
