The Guthrie family is being ruled out as suspects in the disappearance of the 84-year-old mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie.

Pima County, Arizona Sheriff Chris Nanos released a statement Monday saying all siblings and spouses have been cleared, and that the family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious.

Earlier in the day, President Trump said Nancy Guthrie’s kidnappers will face the death penalty if she is found dead. Trump told the New York Post the consequences would be “the most severe” if they kill Nancy Guthrie. She was reported missing on February 1st, and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department says it’s still tracking all leads in the case.
