A 19-year-old senior at Texas A&M University is the Republican nominee for Fort Bend County District Clerk. Audrey Lee won Tuesday night’s primary by more than 25-hundred votes. If she’s elected in November, she’ll be one of the youngest women to hold county office in Texas.

Lee was a full-time student at Wharton County Junior College when she was 15. She emphasizes that the position of county district clerk is administrative, not ideological.
