President Trump says he believes the “honor of taking Cuba” will be his. Speaking at the White House Monday, Trump referred to Cuba as “a failed nation” and said “I think I can do anything I want with it.”
The president’s comments came the same day that Cuba’s national electrical grid suffered a total collapse, leaving around ten-million people without power. It’s the first major blackout since the U.S. effectively shut off the flow of Venezuelan oil to Cuba.
