Gas prices have jumped again as global oil markets reflect concerns over the situation in the Middle East.

The national average for a gallon of regular is now three-dollars and 79 cents, according to Triple-A. That’s up from three-71 on Monday.

A week ago, the national average was at three-53. Drivers in California continue seeing the highest prices at five-dollars and 54 cents a gallon.
