Texas Rangers Investigating Death Of Inmate In Cameron County

The Texas Rangers are investigating after a man accused of murder reportedly killed himself last week.

Joel Uriegas Izaguirre was found dead in his cell at the Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center on Friday morning. He reportedly made some comments about committing suicide before he was found in his cell.

Izaguirre was facing two counts of capital murder after allegedly killing his wife and her aunt in Brownsville in December.
