A man has been taken into custody two years after a deadly shooting in Edinburg. Hector Oliver Ramirez was arrested on Wednesday in Laredo. Investigators say Ramirez fled to Mexico after Victor Gerardo Hernandez was shot in a hotel parking lot on March 2nd, 2024.
A second suspect, Fernando Amaya Orna, reportedly died in Mexico after the shooting. Ramirez will be arraigned on Monday.
