Millions across the Southwest can expect record-setting heat through the weekend. Heat records went up in flames on Thursday in parts of California.
Riverside saw its hottest March 19th on record, as temperatures hit 101. It was 110 degrees in the Yuma Desert near the California-Arizona border.
Forecasters say the high for Phoenix will be 106 today as the aptly nicknamed Valley of the Sun stays under an extreme heat warning through Sunday.
