Two injured cliff jumpers are recovering after their rescue from a rock ledge in Bosque County on Saturday evening. Deputies responded around 5 p.m. to a call that said the jumpers couldn’t safely exit the ledge because of their injuries.

Rescuers lowered the pair to boats waiting below, which took them to shore. From there, they were airlifted to a hospital. Texas Parks and Wildlife assisted with the rescue, along with North Bosque EMS, Air Evac, and several volunteer fire departments.
