The war in Iran is affecting the global market for fertilizer, much of which comes through the Strait of Hormuz. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller says this comes at the worst time. Many crops are now being planted. He says, if there is good news, it’s that commodity prices are on the rise, too. And that’s offset the cost. And, he says, the worst is likely over
