Seven people are in custody after a pursuit in Hidalgo County. Border Patrol agents attempted to stop a vehicle near Military Highway and Veterans Boulevard Thursday.
The people in the vehicle tried to run when the chase ended near the Alamo Flea Market, but the driver and six passengers were arrested. Authorities are investigating the pursuit as a case of human smuggling.
