Some parents in Alamo Heights ISD are hopping mad after a driverless Waymo car drove the wrong way on a one-way street in a school zone.

The autonomous car headed into oncoming traffic on Wednesday morning outside Cambridge Elementary School. It was the time of day when parents were dropping their kids off at school, so there were cars and pedestrians in the area.

Alamo Heights police notified Waymo, and a company spokesperson said they’d already made the necessary adjustments to their operations.
