The House could vote this week on a motion to expel California Representative Eric Swalwell from Congress. Florida Republican Anna Paulina Luna plans to introduce the motion after sexual assault claims surfaced against Swalwell on Friday.

A former staffer says she was raped by Swalwell, District Attorney’s offices in New York and Alameda County are investigating her claims. Swalwell denies the accusations and has so far resisted calls to drop out of California’s race for governor.
