Police said two men were shot and killed by police in East Fort Worth. The first incident happened after officers responded Saturday mprning to multiple calls of shots fired and saw a man with a gun who refused to drop his weapon and pointed it at officers.
The Fort Woth Police Department said at least one officer fired their gun and struck the man and then officers gave the man medical aid but he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
The Department said Hours later while officers were still working at the scene a White SUV drove by multiple times and appeared to be attempting to hit officers standing near the vehicle.
After trying to stop the vehicle a chase ensued and a PIT maneuver was used by officers who then approached the vehicle with guns drawn giving multiple verbal commands, but the driver grabbed an officer’s gun leading multiple officers to fire their weapons.
