The Senate has passed a resolution meant to limit President Trump’s Iran war powers. Republican senators Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Bill Cassidy of Louisiana joined Democrats on Tuesday to pass the War Powers resolution 50-to-47.
Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was the only Democrat to oppose it. If it passes in the House, the measure is expected to be vetoed by Trump.
