Ken Paxton says his win in the Republican primary runoff sends a message that President Trump needs to be listened to. The Texas Attorney General emphasized the importance of supporting Trump during his appearance on Fox “Sunday Morning Futures”.
Paxton, who had picked up an endorsement from the before the primary, beat incumbent John Cornyn. Trump posted on social media that Cornyn will remain his friend and they will both watch Paxton become a respected “common sense senator.”
Paxton will face Democratic State Representative James Talarico in the November midterms.
