By Houston may be the only city on earth where you can find both astronauts and a World Cup match.
Reid Wiseman, commander of the Artemis 2 mission, and Victor Glover, pilot of the manned lunar orbit flight, appeared on Saturday at Houston Stadium, where they received a hero’s welcome. More than 67 thousand fans were on hand for the FIFA World Cup match between Sweden and the Netherlands.
Wiseman and Glover have been making appearances nationwide since their mission in April, including a trip to the White House.
