Police are still investigating and no arrests have been announced after at least 13 people were injured in a drive-by shooting on Chicago’s South Side late Friday night.
Responding to the violence, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said his administration is “working overtime” to get illegal guns off the streets.
Friday’s shooting was just one of several instances of gun violence across the Windy City over the weekend. In all, authorities say at least 33 people were shot. Of those, six died.
