Tens of thousands are still without power across Hawaii as Tropical Storm Lala starts to wind down.
Officials are urging people to stay off the roads until crews are able to assess the damage and begin clearing roads and bridges. Governor Josh Green says one person was killed in a storm-related car accident.
At a news briefing Sunday, officials said 100 homes have been damaged or destroyed on the Big Island of Hawaii where heavy flooding was reported. They are asking people to stay at home until conditions are safe.
