A new study suggests drinking even just one soda or other sugar-sweetened beverage a day more than doubles the risk of stomach cancer. That’s compared to people who don’t consume beverages like soda, juice with added sugar and energy drinks.

Researchers at Mass General Brigham Cancer Center have published their findings after analyzing data from 100-thousand study participants over several decades.
