Two Texas oil firms will soon be doing business in South America. Venezuelan government officials signed deals with energy executives in Houston this week during the IMAGE 2026 energy conference.

The two deals are the first commercial energy partnerships signed on U.S. soil under Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodríguez.
