In the U.S. Senate race in Texas, Democratic candidate James Talarico is massively outspending his GOP opponent Ken Paxton on media ads. Talarico has spent more than 25 million dollars on campaign ads since late May.
The outlay includes spots on broadcast, streaming, cable, digital, radio and satellite. Paxton’s campaign has spent only 119 thousand dollars, mostly on digital advertising.
Despite the disparity in spending, Talarico’s slight polling lead is still within the margin of error.
