By Utah Governor Spencer Cox is calling for the political rhetoric to be turned down. Cox spoke to “ABC’s This Week” as the one-year anniversary of the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University.
Cox said 70-percent of the country doesn’t like “where we are right now,” adding that “they’re tired of the contempt and they’re desperate for something better.” The governor also reflected on the fatal shooting of Kirk, calling it a moment he can’t get out of his mind.
