Abbott: FEMA Will Extend Mass Vaccination Sites

FEMA-run mass coronavirus vaccination sites will stay open in Texas. Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Wednesday the federal government will keep the site at Houston’s NRG Park running through May.

Two sites at E-Sports Stadium and Fair Park in North Texas will also be open for the same time. The state is going to be providing supplies and vaccine doses. The sites were originally opened in February to help underserved communities get the coronavirus shot.
