Abbott Orders Removal Of Rainbow Crosswalks In Texas Cities

Rainbow crosswalks across Texas are sety to be removed at the order of Republican Governor Greg Abbott.

On Wednesday, the governor threatened to withhold Texas Department of Transportation funding from cities and counties that fail to remove symbols of “political ideologies” from their streets.

In San Antonio, that includes the rainbow crosswalk on North Main Avenue within the Pride Cultural Heritage District.
