Abbott Promises To Facilitate More TPUSA Chapters In Texas High Schools

Governor Greg Abbott says he plans to assist Turning Point USA in establishing a chapter on every college and high school campus in Texas.

Abbott made the announcement on Monday at a press conference with Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and Turning Point USA senior director Josh Thifault. Last month Patrick pledged a million dollars in campaign funds to help Turning Point USA start new chapters.

Abbott said any schools trying to block the conservative group would be disciplined by the Texas Education Agency.
