Gov. Greg Abbott is joining those who are speaking up against anti-Asian bias lately. The governor was in Fort Bend County over the weekend to speak at the “Together – We are United” Rally in Sugar Land. Abbott denounced prejudice, racism and violence against Asian-Americans.
Some of the people attending the rally in the Sugar Land town square carried signs and flags. Joining Gov. Abbott at the rally were Sugar Land Mayor Joe Zimmerman, city and county officials, State Rep. Jacey Jetton, and other Republican leaders.
